Bengaluru: 'If you vote for BJP, you are voting for Pakistan', says Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru, Apr 11: In a controversial comment, former chief minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday April 11 said that voting for the BJP was akin to voting for Pakistan.

He was referring to the statement by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, who had said that if Modi comes back to power, it would be easier to continue the peace process with India.

Tagging Imran Khan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP in his tweet, Siddaramaiah asked what was the reason behind Imran Khan supporting the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.

"Looks like Pakistan is supporting BJP to later hurt our Country just like what Russia did to USA. If you Vote for BJP, You are voting for Pakistan!! (sic)," he tweeted.


In another tweet, he said Congress has never sacrificed national security for selfish reasons and expressed suspicions of PM Modi of having 'colluded' with Pakistan.

"@INCIndia never sacrificed National Security for selfish motives but looks like @narendramodi colluded with Pakistan for political benefits in the name of Nationalism but we sadly lost our Bravehearts for BJP's politics. If you Vote for BJP, You are voting for Pakistan!! (sic)." he said.


Imran Khan had said that if Congress comes to power in India, its government would be too 'scared to seek a settlement with Pakistan over Kashmir, fearing a backlash from the right'.

"Perhaps if the BJP - a right-wing party - wins, some kind of settlement in Kashmir could be reached," he had said. His comments have generated wide debate in the media, and attracted criticism from the opposition parties against the BJP. Imran Khan had however also criticised the BJP saying Muslims in India especially in Kashmir were feeling 'alienated' under its reign.

    I think he is right.Because these BJPians are the ones who never allow us to forget word Pakistan,by hook or by crook they attach Pakistan in their speech more than HINDUSTAN,this proves that they are blindly in love with Pakistan.

    Congress orchestrated Pulwama terror attack coordinating with Pakistan thinking that maximum Modi can go for surgical strike so that Pakistan getting full prepared to counter the surgical strike. Here congress plan failed due to 56"chest Modiji taken daring step of Arial attack on Pakistan., which increased Indias terror deterrence high level in the whole world as well as Modiji personal image go very high among Indian people . Pakistan image spoiled badely . Now Pakistan colluding with Congress started new drama of praising Modiji during election . People are enough intelligent to know the crookedness of Pakistan and congress party. Next drama will come shortly Crying about EVM as Congress and other parties surely know they loose very badly. Any crooked tactics by congress will boomerang on them.

    From Pulwama attack till handing over our airforce pilot was match fixed between Imran Khan and Modi. 44 CPRF personnel and their families were made easy target sitting ducks for BJP vote bank. India and Pakistan lost one each aircraft in this drama which tax payers of both countries will pay. Pakistan is monetarily benefitted hugely by Modi by foreign exchange. Never in history of India, Pakistan has released any of Indian defence personnel in one piece alive. If BJP can do Godhra 2002 then this is step ahead by BJP.
