Mangaluru, Apr 27: The nursing fraternity of Father Muller Medical College Hospital will organise a seminar on 'Freedom from Lifestyle Diseases' on May 9 for the priests, religious sisters and religious brothers of the diocese here.

In the seminar, there will be talks by well experienced and senior consultants of the hospital on preventive measures to common lifestyle illness like hypertension and diabetes and tips to cope with their complaints. There will also be a discussion on cancers affecting men and women.

The seminar begins at 7 am with a collection of blood sample.

Registration is free. At the health check up, investigations like complete blood count, fasting blood sugar and lipid profile will be tested free of cost.
