Puttur: Blood Helpline Karnataka holds successful blood donation camp at Parladka

Puttur, Apr 29: Kilriya Young Mens Parladka and Blood helpline Karnataka jointly held a public blood donation camp on Sunday, April 28 in fond memory of Marhooma Maimuna Hajjumma Parladka at the premises of Kilr Masjid Parladka.

The programme was inaugurated through Dua prayers by Khateeb of Muhuddin Juma Masjid Golikatte, Mohammed Ali Darimi Ustad. Speaking on the occasion he said, “Blood donation is the noble deed that all human beings have to do regardless of caste and religion. There is no history that a person has asked for the blood of the same religion to which he or she belongs to when they are need of blood. Giving alms has the highest respect and regard in the Islam religion and blood donation is also a form of alms giving.”



The stage programme was presided over by president of Muhuddin Juma Masjid Golidkatte, Shaban Macchimale in the august presence of Khateeb of Kilr Masjid Parladka Shahul Hamid Musliyar.

34 donors donated their blood in the camp. Medical officers of Puttur Rotary Campco Blood bank and personnel extended their cooperation in collecting blood from the donors.

The programme was compered by Ashraf Arabi. The organizers have extended their gratitude to all the blood donors, members of Kilriya Young Mens Parladka and representatives of the media who contributed their effort in making this camp a grand success.
