Mangaluru, Apr 29: Rangaswaroopa (R) Kunjathbail here, honoured Harekala Hajabba with 'Ranga Pratap award' at KGPM Model Higher Primary School Marakada Kunjathbail.

Dr Vasant Kumar Parla, a retired director of the SPACE programme, spoke on the occasion and said that the need for skill-based education is essential for today's young generation and that this kind of learning experience has continured for the past 16 years. It is a model for today's society.

Famous artiste and environmentalist Dinesh Holla, former deputy superintendent of police K Mohammad, director of Formal Study Group, Gopadkar School principal teacher Malati, skating ball sportsman Faraz Ali, Subrahmanya Kasaragod, were present at the venue.

Rehman Khan Kunjathbail delivered the introductory spech. Aneesa welcomed everyone. Taslima Banu read out the citation, Premnath compered. 145 camps participated in the event which was followed by a cultural programme at the campus.
