Mangaluru: Prayer ceremony held to show solidarity to Sri Lanka terror attack victims

Mangaluru, Apr 30: St Francis Xavier's Church Bejai, under the leadership of Youth Welfare Committee and Indian Catholic Youth Movement, organised a prayer ceremony in order to show solidarity to the victims of terror attack at Sri Lanka, on Monday April 29, after the evening Mass.

The condolence ceremony was started with a prayer service led by Fr Vinod Lobo. Fr Wilson Vitus D’Souza, parish priest, gave a short message to the gathering. A silent candle walk was organised, and all parishioners joined the procession. At the end, lighted candles were placed around the poster of Sri Lanka's country.



The gathering also indulged in personal prayers after the ceremony inside the church.
