Udupi, Apr 30: Susheela Sherigar (65) from Ambalpady here, lost her life after having been hit by a bus on Monday April 29. This accident happened at the city bus stand in the city.
Susheela, accompanied by her relative, Mohan Kotian, had arrived at the local bus stand from Ambalpady. She wanted to go to Katapadi. It is said that on account of reckless driving on the part of the bus driver, Prajwal, the bus hit Susheela hard, inflicting injuries to her.
The woman, who suffered severe injuries, was taken to hospital where she breathed her last. A case relating to this accident was registered in traffic police station here.
