Mangaluru: D K Cooperative Milk Producers Union holds consultative meeting

Mangaluru, May 2: A consultative meeting of milk distribution vehicle contractors, drivers of vehicles, and conductors was held on April 30, 2019 at the training hall in the dairy compound here by Dakshina Kannada Cooperative Milk Producers Union. Managing director of the union, Dr G V Hegde, presided over the meeting. The managing director, addressing those who participated in the meeting, said that the aim of the union is to provide good service to Nandini dealers. "Milk is a very essential food item for the all-round and intellectual growth of every person. It is the duty of every one of us to maintain good quality of Nandini brand milk and other products," he stated.

He congratulated the staff for achieving a new record by selling 86,700 kg curds on April 28 this year and expressed gratitude to everyone who directly or indirectly extended support towards achieving this feat.



Market manager, Jayadevappa K, discussing about the proper service and defects in transportation of Nandini milk and milk products by the distribution staff, asked them to provide very good service to the dealers. He said that the people expect good quality products and dealers expect high quality service. He therefore stressed that the role of contractors, drivers and conductors in proper distribution of products is of high importance and asked them to work towards this goal.

On this occasion, gifts by way of travel bags, cash bags, and T-shirts with Nandini logo were presented to vehicle contractors and staff who participated.

Manager of the union, Shivashankaraswamy, deputy managers, Dr Raviraj Hgde and Hamanth Kumar, market officer, Chetan S, were present.
