Mangaluru, May 2: Akhila Bharatha Beary Parishad condemned the series of terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka and New Zealand.

Addressing media here on Thursday, May 2, president of Akhila Bharatha Beary Parishad B A Mohammed Haneef said, "Peace and sympathy are root of every religion in our society. Some are using the name of religion to destroy these fundamental beliefs. We would also like to address that these acts of terrorism recently seen in New Zealand and Sri Lanka are condoned by specific power groups who call themselves Islamic. They should not be linked with the general Muslim population.



“We would like give a message to all parents who send their children abroad, to caution their children, against groups who turn them into terrorists and also see that our young children will not indulge in any wrong activity.

"People should condemn terrorist acts as terrorists do not have any religion. Thsoe groups also encourage youths to indulge in terrorist acts,” said B A Mohammed Haneef.

Vice president Ahamed Bava Bajal, Yusuf, general secretary K S Abubakkar Pallamajalu, secretary M S Siddique and others were present.

    Ban religion and all its external non sense. It should be practised quietly without any noise and should be within 4 walls. Then the society will be better off. Religion is opium to society.
