Udupi: Man dies of heart attack during bus travel

Udupi, May 3: A person suffered heart attack while travelling by a bus and passed away. This tragic incident happened on Thursday May 2 at Barkur near here.

The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Ganiga (56) from Kandlur. He was travelling by bus to the house of a relative at Kokkarne from Udupi, when he breathed his last.

When the bus was passing through Barkur, Ganiga experienced severe breathing problems and he was found gasping for breath. The bus was stopped at the primary health centre at Barkur and he was rushed inside. But the doctors there found that he was no more.



Dinesh Ganiga was working as the driver of the ambulance attached to Kota community health centre. It is gathered that he was returning after attending to his duty at the strong room at Udupi where electronic voting machines have been preserved, when he lost his life.
