Mangaluru, May 6: The annual festival, eighth prathista vardhanti and community chandika yaga are scheduled in Kadekar Guruvana Durga temple, Jeppinamogaru here under the guidance of priest Narendranath Yogishwareshwara swamiji on May 12 and May 13.

The religious rituals will be performed in the presence of temple renovation in charge, former Karnataka state minister Krishna J Palemar under the leadership of Brahmashree Vedamurthi Uchilathaya and Nileshwara Padmanabha Tantri.

Bhajan groups will play Bhajans from sunrise to sunset on May 12 followed by Yakshagana at 6.30 pm. There will be Bhakthibhavageethe and Janapada songs 8.45 pm.

Ganahoma, Bimbashuddhi, Kalasha Pooje, Kalashabhisheka from 8 am on May 13 followed by Yakshagana items and other religious rituals. The programme will conclude at 9 pm by Nrityabali.

Temple trustee and secretary J Koragapa has requested one and all to actively participate in the religious and cultural programmes.
