Bantwal, May 8: Tumbe block Congress donated Rs 50 thousand to Balehithilu, Tumbe resident Gopal Kulal who had lost his leg in a road accident.
“The financial help is to show that the society is with you when you are in difficulties. Nobody should face physical drawbacks. The incident was unfortunate. The government will provide more monetary help so that you may face life as a challenge,” said zilla panchayat member Chandraprakash Shetty.
DCC secretary Monappa Maji, DCC minority unit vice president Nisar Ahmed, DCC member Abdul Rashid, Mudipu block Congress minority unit president Imthiaz Tumbe, Tumbe block congress president Ganesh Salian, secretary Devadas Parlakke, party’s Prakash B Shetty, Shaila Tumbe, Gopal Krishna Tumbe, Mahabala Maji and Jagadish Gatti Parlakke were present.
