Mangaluru: 'Bon Super Mommy 2019' contest to mark Mothers' Day on May 12

Mangaluru, May 10: On the occasion of Mothers Day, Moms of Mangaluru will bring to the city beautiful and elegant pageant 'Bon Super Mommy 2019' on May 12 at City Center mall, from 4 pm omwards.

This is the third year since this idea of 'Super Mommy' title was conceived and put into action. The event brings together members of the biggest group of mothers of Mangalurean origin on Facebook to celebrate the true essence of being a mother and compete with a true spirit to win the title of 'Super MOMMY 2019'. Moms of Mangaluru has more than 38,000 members and has previously won the 'Best Mommy Group' on Facebook in the year 2017.

The event begins with an online participation contest where mothers must upload a picture of their beautiful bond with their child. Based on highest number of likes and judges decision, there will 20 finalists who will compete on May 12 at the main gala event at City Center.

The event starts off with a ramp walk on the theme of colour coordinated outifts, where each participant will introduce themselves and speak a few words on their idea of being a mother.

There will be an elimination round where ten participants will move to the next round, which is the question and answer round. The best answers will help them move to the next and final round.

The final round is a special visual round comprising of three winners- first title winner and two runner-ups. All the participants will receive participation certificates and medals. Winners will receive cash/gift vouchers.
