Kundapur: Sixteen KMF directors elected unopposed

Kundapur, May 11: Sixteen directors for Dakshina Kannada Co-operative Milk Producers Union were elected unopposed. Therefore, elections scheduled on May 12 are cancelled.

The unopposed elections were possible after adjustments between Congress supported and BJP supported groups. K Prakashchandra Shetty and Haddur Rajiv Shetty received their positions from Kundapur taluk and Jagadish Karanth got elected from Sastan. Current president Raviraj Hegde is elected from Kundapur sub division.
