Kaup, May 12: Overwhelmed by reasons unknown to his family members and neighbours, Cyril Menezes (47) from Padubelle in Belle village near Katapadi hanged himself from the cross bar of the well located adjacent to his home on Saturday May 11.
The house of Menezes is under repair. Therefore, the family was temporarily living in a rented house. On Saturday afternoon, Cyril Menezes came near his home under repairs, and hanged himself.
It is said that in the past too, he had tried to end his life thrice, having been fed up with life. On the basis of complaint filed by Liliana Menezes, wife of the deceased, a case of unnatural death was registered in Shirva police station in connection with this suicide.
