Bengaluru: Coast, south interior Karnataka may get rain

Bengaluru, May 13: The meteorological department has predicted possibility of rain with thunder in a couple of places in coastal Karnataka and south interior region. This prediction is valid till Tuesday morning. It added that north interior Karnataka will continue to experience dry weather.

During the 24-hour period ended 8.30 am on Sunday, Periyapatna in Mysuru district received highest rainfall of five cm while a few places in south interior Karnataka got light rains. During this period, Sargoor registered three cm of rainfall while Konanur, Kolar, Mandya, Chamarajanagar and a few more places got one cm rain each.

The coast and north interior places remained dry. Maximum temperature in the coast registered a little fall. Raichur recorded the highest temperature of the day at 43 degree Celsius.
