Tumakuru: No action against Hegde, Nalin - BJP activists express rage on social media

Tumakuru, May 20: Activists of the BJP party have expressed their rage against the leader of opposition and president of state BJP Yeddyurappa for rusticating the district BJP Yuva Morcha president Hanumantharaju for posting the controversial statement of 'Nathuram Godse is a patriot'.

The BJP activists have condemned the action of Yeddyurappa on social media and posted that the leaders who cannot take to task MPS like Anant Kumar Hegde and Nalin Kumar Kateel, who have given similar statement have taken against a hapless dedicated worker of the party.

A person by the Chethan Kumar Yadav has posted "I hereby inform that I condemn the action of Yeddyurappa who did not respect the district BJP Yuva Morcha leader Hanumantharaju, who has worked relentlessly for the victory of BJP MLA in Tumakuru and also for giving ticket to the candidate who belongs to his caste."

There are 17 others also who have supported the post made by Chethan Kumar Yadav.

Others have posted "You have suspended the person who had worked with dedication for the party. If you have guts take action on MLAs and MPs who are giving controversial statements from a long time. We all support the statement given by Hanumantharaju."

Hanumantharaju, district president of Tumakuru BJP Yuva Morcha had posted on his Facebook account on Friday, May 17 that Nathuram Godse, who killed Mahatma Gandhi was a dedicated patriot. In addition he also made one more post in which he said that Godse, who gave his head to the noose requesting to immerse his ashes in the Indus river, is an unparalleled patriot. The party had removed him from the party for these posts made by Hanumantharaju.
