Moodbidri, May 28: Alva’s Education Foundation, here will host the eleventh edition of the mega placement drive, Alva’s Pragati 2019 at Vidyagiri Campus, Moodbidri on June 21 and 22.
Alva’s Pragati 2019 features participation of top recruiters representing major sectors such as IT, ITeS, Manufacturing, Healthcare and Pharma, Sales and Retail, Automobile, Banking and Finance, Hospitality, Education and NGO. These sectors offer large number of openings for graduates and post graduates in various streams such as Medical and Para-Medical, Engineering, Arts, Commerce & Management, Basic Sciences, Nursing, ITI, Diploma, skilled manpower with PUC & SSLC and other qualifications.
Main objective: To facilitate job opportunities, especially to rural and underprivileged parts of the country.
Who can participate: Alva’s Pragati caters to the needs of the employment aspirations of graduates and post-graduates in various streams such as Medical and Para-medical, Engineering, Commerce and Management, Basic Sciences, Nursing, ITI and Diploma holders, skilled manpower with PUC and SSLC qualifications among others.

• Candidate registration for Alva’s Pragati 2019 is open on both days, namely June 21 and 22
• So far, 58 companies have registered and additionally 187 companies have confirmed their participation
• Graduates from streams like BCom, MBA, Mcom, BBM, BSc have highest openings from all sectors participating at Alva’s Pragati
• Manufacturing sector, featuring Kirloskar Toyota Textile Machinery Pvt Ltd, Toyota Industries Engine India, Ajax Fiori, Nexteer, Ace Manufacturing, Bill Forge have a large number of job openings this year for BE Mechanical and Diploma
• Honda, Schneider Electric, Tafe, Yazaki and many more are hiring ITIs
• Prominent Gulf multinational companies have confirmed their participation

Alva’s Pragati 2019 expects a participation of 200 companies this year and around 15,000-20,000 aspirants are expected to participate within the state and adjoining states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana etc. In 2018, 183 companies and 8,347 students had participated and 1,326 spot offers were made. 3,947 students were shortlisted for various profiles in prestigious companies.

Early registration would help disseminate job openings information to job aspirants beforehand. It also helps for arrangement and management of infrastructure as per candidates' requirements.
