Udupi, May 28: “Sincere police officer Annamalai is an expert in maintaining law and order. Therefore, let him serve police department for another ten years,” said Krishna Math paryaya Palimar seer Vidyadheesha Swamiji.

Speaking to news reporters in Udupi on Tuesday, May 28, he said that there is talk that the sincere police officer is joining politics. “I do not object to his joining politics. But let him serve in police force for another ten years. Was the entrance to politics required so soon,” he asked.

“One should be prepared for both success and failure in politics. Annamalai never faced failure as police officer. It is not possible to get love from all in politics. Join politics after ten years. There is no age limit for politics. However if he has decided to join politics, I will pray for that too,” he said.

“Let there be good wherever Annamalai goes. He is capable of cleaning politics. Our small wish is that he should not give up police department,” he said.
