Mangaluru, May 29: St Anthony’s Ashram Jeppu will start (Tredecina) thirteen days novena on May 31 in preparation for the annual feast of St Anthony to be celebrated on June 13.
Fr Dr Ronald Serrao, rector of St Joseph Seminary will hoist St Anthony’s flag at St Anthony’s Grotto at St Anthony’s Ashram Jeppu at 11.15 am and there afterwards he will celebrate the Holy Mass at the Ashram Chapel Jeppu. The thirteen-day novena which will be held every day at 11.30 am at Anthony’s Chapel Jeppu includes Rosary, Holy Mass and novena followed by lunch.
As a remote preparation for the feast the Triduum (three days novena) will be held at Milagres Church at 6 p.m. from June 10 to 12.
The main festive Holy Mass will be celebrated by Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop of Mangaluru on June 13 at Milagres Church.
