Bengaluru: Heavy rain predicted in parts of state

Bengaluru, May 30: The meteorological department has predicted the possibility of some places in south interior Karnataka including Bengaluru getting heavy rains for two days beginning Thursday May 30.

The department said that Bengaluru rural, city, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Kodagu, Mysuru and Ramanagara disricts are likely to get rain. Other places located in south interior Karnataka also may get rainfall.

However, coastal Karnataka and north interior parts of the state are expected to continue to experience dry weather. On Wednesday, Kalaburagi recorded highest temperature in the state of 44.7 degree celsius.
