Kundapur, May 30: Kundapur municipal councilor Abbu Mohammed and chief parcel distributor in new bus stand here, Siraj handed over Rs 50,000 collected from donors for treatment to Anwar Basha, who was injured recently when the wheel of a bus ran over his left foot. The amount was handed over to Anwar during visit to his residence.
Basha had won the hearts of customers In Kundapur bus stand by his accurate hard work of distributing parcels during the last fifteen years. He was picking a parcel from a bus and getting down recently when the bus moved reverse and he fell losing balance. His left foot came under the rear wheel of the bus crushing it.
Donors had donated substantial amount for his treatment in the hospital. As he is unable to walk, he is taking rest at home on doctor’s advice.
