Mangaluru: Prayas Day celebrated at Sri Narayana Guru College and Govt PU Colleage Krishnapura

Mangaluru, May 30: As a part of the World Menstrual Hygiene celebration, Prayas Day was celebrated at Sri Narayana Guru College, Katipalla and Govt PU Colleage Krishnapura.

Umesh Karkera, principal of Sri Narayana Guru College was present as guest and high school headmistress Gunavathi Ramesh conveyed her best wishes. JCI members, headmaster of higher primary school Mahavira Jain, lecturers and teachers were present during the occasion. JCI President Lokesh Rai presided over the function.

At Government PU College, Krishnapura, Shashi N, principal, was present as guest who conveyed her best wishes.

Rajeshwari D Shetty informed the students about the significance, purpose and awareness of Prayas's day during her training.

Sanitary napkins, issued by company NIINE, which works in collaboration with JCI India, was distributed to the students during the function.
