Dubai: SFX Kutam’s Half-day Picnic Energizes Members

Dubai, Apr 29: It was the exciting day for the St Francis Xavier Association, Mudarangady Parishioners (SFX Kutam) residing in the UAE. A fun day family picnic was held recently at ‘Creek Park’, Dubai with around 60 members   happily gathering in this blissful half-day picnic. The picnic was organized by the association with the aim of getting to know each other a little better, have fun and to renew the commitment to build harmony and peaceful community.

It all started with a prayer followed by warm welcome by president Canute Mathias. All attendees, men, women, youth and children from all walks of life participated in various games .There were many games and activities to all the age-group persons. Participants were divided into three teams. 

 A number of warm up games were conducted by Leslie, James, Asha. Women and children also enjoyed perfect attention with the team games .Tug-of-war for men and women left the participant energized, as they continued applauding and supporting the participating teams.

Among the three teams,  namely, Team I-‘Crow’, Team II- ‘Bulldog’ and Team III-‘Tigers’,  Tigers bagged the prizes and rose victoriously as the champion while second place was bagged Bulldog.
