Mumbai: Mysuru Association holds drawing exhibition

Mumbai, Jul 1: Mysura Association in association with Kannada department, Mumbai University held a drawing exhibition at Matunga east.

The two day long exhibition was set in motion by Karnataka state awardee, artist and Karnataka Lalitha Academy former president S G Vasudev. He also released Nesaru trimonthly magazine, organ of Mysuru Association.

Drawings of well known artists Vasudev Kamath, Devadas S Shetty, Diwaker Shetty, Rekha Hebbar, Anu Pananje, Panju Ganguli, Chitramitra, Jaya S Salian and others were on display.

A drawing competition was held for children between the ages of 9 and 12. The winners were presented prizes.



Padmanabha Shetty Siddakatte sang a prayer song. Mysuru Association’s Narayan Navilekar welcomed the gathering. Kannada department lecturer Dr Poornima S Shetty compered the programme. Mysuru Association honorary secretary Dr Ganapathi Shankerling rendered the vote of thanks.
