Bengaluru, Jul 6: “The policy of neglect by the coalition government is the cause of resignations,” said veteran JD(S) leader, Hunasoor MLA H Vishwanath.

Speaking after his visit to the governor, he said that those who run the government are responsible for the speedy developments.

“We have not become victims of 'Operation Kamala' at any stage. Fourteen MLAs including Anand Singh have submitted their resignations. I have brought the matter to the notice of the governor after submitting the resignations,” he said.

“The coalition government has failed to respond to the aspirations of the people and proceed with the MLAs of both the parties. It has failed to shoulder the responsibilities taking suggestions of all. The education sector has died in the state. Several such works are taking place at government level. Those who run the government have failed completely,” he said without naming the chief minister.

“We have resigned on the basis of our will. Besides that we inform the people likewise. We have submitted our resignations to the governor and have requested the speaker to accept our resignations by means of a letter,” he said.
