Jaipur, May 26: Three youths who were allegedly harassing a girl, beat up the cops of Mahesh Nagar police station when they tried to stop the miscreants on Sunday night. The police arrested one of the youths, while others managed to flee.
A passerby informed the Mahesh Nagar police around 11 pm that three youths were harassing a girl at Mahesh Nagar railway crossing. Two constables from Mahesh Nagar police station reached the spot within minutes and caught the youths indulging in eve-teasing. When they tried to stop the youths, they allegedly tore the uniform of the cops and thrashed them. A police team rushed to their rescue and arrested one of the youths.
