A hearty congratulations to Mr. Vishwanath Shetty on organising this event. I am sure this has been a treat for young and old. Truly, such opportunities must be given to children who can demonstrate their talent on stage. Congrats once again.

The proceedings were conducted fairly well except for the prize distribution which took long time. Miss Vaishaki Mayya did a commendable job of comparing the fancy dress event in dual languages i.e English and Kannada, though I believe that it was her first performance as an MC. The participants in all categories carried themselves very well with well defined unique concepts ranging from normal vegetable vendor, politician, tree climber etc to environment friendly "Plastikasura", Hawaiian dancer, short man with a big head etc.. The inauguration of the fancy dress competition by the little toddler Ms Shetty(daughter or Mr. Vishwanath Shetty was fantastic. She probably did the best than the rest considering her young age. The programme was well thought, well prepared and well carried out by the entertainment secretary Mr. Vishwanath Shetty. Some of the speeches were long and could have been shorter. On the whole, the function was good, well done and all the credit goes to the young president and his young team of office bearers of Sharjah Karnataka Sangha. We look forward for many more quality programmes from Sharjah Karnataka Sangha. Three cheers to all the members and office bearers. Herman Lewis and family, Also RADIO SPICE 105.4 FM.
