Mangaluru: Heavy rain - Bengaluru train disruption to continue on July 22

Mangaluru, Jul 22: The train services on the tracks between the city and Bengaluru, which were suspended yesterday on account of operation to remove a preciously positioned boulder on ghat section will remain suspended today as boulder removal work has slowed down on account of heavy rainfall.

The Yeshwantpur - Mangaluru central (16585)express train movement had been cancelled on Sunday. Train No. 16586 from here to Yeshwantpur has been cancelled on Monday. Mangaluru - Karwar and Bengaluru - Karwar express train was partially cancelled on Sunday. Karwar - KSR - Bengaluru express train will not move between Karwar and Mangaluru on July 22.

Because of boulder removal operations, the Bengaluru night train moved via Kerala on Sunday. Trains between the city and Bengaluru travelled via Shoranur, Jolarpettai route, railway sources said.
