Udupi: DAR personnel Sri Shankar bags third prize at 62nd All India Police Duty Meet

Udupi, Jul 22: Udupi district Armed Reserve police personnel Sri Shankar APC 154, driver, MT section, bagged third price in the vehicle search of anti-sabotage event in 62nd All India Police Duty Meet-2018 which was organized by Uttar Pradesh Police at Lucknow from July 16 to 20.

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath presented the prize and certificate on the closing ceremony. UP hosted the event after 20 years.

In other category, Drona, a police canine, belonging to Bengaluru South armed forces, won a gold medal for its amazing performance in All India police duty mate category. More than hundred police canines, across the country participated in the event. Ravidesh Bhandary is the trainer. Drona is serving from past six years in police detective wing.
