Mumbai, Jul 25: Kannada Sangha Santacruz celebrated Ashadotsava for the year at Rajyog auditorium, Kherwadi, Bandra east on Wednesday July 24.

President L V Ameen presided over the programme.

Billava Chamber of Commerce and Industries president, N T Poojary lighted the lamp and set the programme in motion.

Promoter of the sangha, Sadananda Safaliga, Prasad Shetty, Bunts Sangha Mumbai Andheri Bandra regional committee president Dr R K Shetty, Doddaguthu Bhujanga Shetty, Billavara Association Mumbai vice president Harish G Ameen, Sai Care group president Surendra A Poojary, office bearers and several elite were present.

President L V Ameen distributed traditional Kashaya and jaggery to the gathering.

Honorary chief secretary, Sujatha R Shetty welcomed the gathering and compered the programme.

Social and cultural committee secretary Laxmi N Kotian sang local Ashada songs, explained about the tradition and proposed the vote of thanks.
