Mumbai: Bantara Sangha Bandra committee adopts poor, needy students

Mumbai, Aug 5: Bantara Sangha Mumbai Andheri Bandra regional committee held ‘Disha 2019 programme’ at S M Shetty Institute auditorium, Povai, on Sunday evening August 4. The programme was led by Bantara Sangha regional committee president Dr R K Shetty. Bantara Sangha Mumbai vice president Chandrahas Shetty chaired the programme.

Several poor and differently abled students were adopted in the programme. Scholarships and clothes were distributed among other students.

Bantara Sangha Mumbai vice president Chandrahas Shetty was felicitated considering his social work behind the curtain.



Anand Shetty spoke about mediclaim. Regional sports committee president Sooraj Shetty asked community members talented in sports and Cultural president Savitha Shetty asked community member who are ahead in arts to take part in their respective activities.

Prashanti D Shetty sang a prayer song. Regional committee social welfare president Prabhaker Shetty Nanayara Garadi welcomed everyone. Ladies wing secretary Vajra Poonja and Prasad Shetty introduced the felicities in sports. Ladies wing president Vanitha Y Nonda and joint secretary Ramesh D Rai Kayyar introduced the other felicities.

Ravi R Shetty read the list of beneficiaries. Baba Prasad introduced the guests and compered the programme. Regional committee vice president, advocate R G Shetty rendered the vote of thanks. Mithali Shetty troupe performed dances.
