Mumbai, Aug 6: A meeting will be held at Shirodkar Hall in Parel on August 6 at 6 pm. BEST workers union leader Shashank Rao and bus management will have talks on wage agreement and other issues at the meeting.

BEST general manager Surendrakumar Bagde said that administration will consider signing a wage agreement after certain issues are discussed. An amount of Rs 200 crore is expected to be given out to the retired workers as gratuity.

According to Rao, if the new wage agreement is not passed or accepted by the management, the BEST employees will be carrying out an indefinite strike from midnight on August 6.
