Karkala, Aug 6: A tree has fallen on a house in Sunkamar in Bola grama panchayat limits here in the heavy rain that lashed here on Tuesday.

The tree that fell on the roof of the house of Sunkamar resident Devi has damaged cement sheets on it causing a loss of about eight thousand rupees. Bola village accountant Sudarshan visited the spot and evaluated the loss.
