Equitable Social Justice for All is My Mantra : Veerappa Moily


Bagepalli, Jun 16 (DHNS): “I will implement the promises that I had made to the people of Chikkaballapur constituency prior to the Lok Sabha elections. Issues plaguing the district has already been discussed with the higher officers concerned,” said Union Minister for Law M Veerappa Moily.  

He was addressing a huge gathering after being felicitated in Chikkaballapur city on Monday. The felicitation programme was organised by the Congress party.

Chikkaballpur district has facilitated in reinventing my political career. As a result I am committed to the over all development of the district. Also efforts are underway to provide permanent drinking water facility to the region. Moreover, projects are being devised to provide water of rivers Tunga, Cauvery and Netravathi to the district.

Top priority will be accorded towards providing employment, higher education, efficient implementation of the NREGS, irrigation facilities, repair and maintenance of tanks, elaborated Veerappa Moily.

Social justice for all

As a Law Minister my job is not restricted towards handling legal issues alone. Instead I intend to provide social, economic and political justice to all sections of the society. Thus, the top most responsibility is towards providing a just and equitable society. I would begin this work of mine from the Chikkaballapur constituency itself, said  the Law Minister.
