Kundapur, Jun 17: It is reported that a man named Suresh Poojary from Amasebail Belarajeddu in the taluk, who was frustrated with life, decided to end his life. On Monday June 15 night, he climbed an electric pole and brought his neck in contact with the high tension cables.

The incident occurred at the electric pole standing in a land belonging to Soda Saheb of Jelarajeddu. Poojary's skull got separated from the body and fell down while the torso continued to get stuck on the pole. A case has been registered in Amasebail police station in this regard.
