Mangalore: Man Arrested after 13 Years of Issuing Warrant

Mangalore, Jun 17: A person who had absconded after committing a crime was arrested here after 13 years.

The arrested has been identified as Moiddin (35) from Opangala, Varkady near here.

He was alleged of beating up an autorickshaw driver Krishnappa Moolya from Majeerpala and had been issued an arrest warrant 13 years ago. However, he evaded arrest for 13 years going underground.

    Oh my god, arrested after 13 years. This is what we say "Kanoon ke haath lambey hothe hain". I think the culprit was fed up of staying underground.
