Udupi: ABVP Seeks Apology from D K Shivakumar

Udupi, Jun 18: Karnataka state unit of Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishat has sought an unconditional apology from the working president of the state Congress Committee D K Shivakumar for alleging that the ABVP activists participating in the Anti-Terrorism Campaign had indulged in financial irregularities and that they had earned money by selling question papers of Bangalore University.

The ABVP asked Shivakumar either to prove his allegations or tender unconditional apology. In case of failure, a case will be filed against him, it said.

ABVP state secretary P M Ravichandra and leader Dr Shivanand Nayak put forth the above demands and the threat of legal action at a press conference held here on Wednesday June 17. District convener of ABVP Vinayak was present.

    I dont know what Ronald is talking about. If ABVP is not good, the SFI, KSU and other organizatoins are also not good for the society.

    Whatever is the issue, ABVP is not for the good of society nor for students better future. Mostly comprised of lazy and non goal oriented people.
