Mangalore: Two commit Suicide by Jumping into Wells

Mangalore, Jun 18: Two people living within the jurisdiction of Mangalore Rural police station ended their lives by jumping into wells on Wednesday June 17.

Lawrence Rodrigues (62) from Kuntalpady, Shaktinagar jumped into a well located within the compound of his home. He was reportedly frustrated with the fact that he could not get cured from cancer, in spite of getting all possible treatments.

Maurice Lobo (52) from Vamanjoor Santosh Nagar was the other man who chose to commit suicide in this way. It is said, he was addicted to drinking and could not get rid of this habit.

Cases of unnatural deaths have been registered in both the above cases at the rural police station here.
