Mumbai, Aug 29: CISF officials apprehended a Senegalese woman, Rokhayatou Gueye, on Wednesday, at Terminal-2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, for allegedly carrying 25,000 euros concealed in her groin area.
Gueye was scheduled to fly Thai Airways to Bangkok and during the pre-embarkation security check at woman frisking booth of the international security hold area at Terminal 2, CISF Constable, Shilpa Jain noticed something was amiss with the woman.
Shilpa Jain carried out a thorough check of Rokhayatou Gueye and detected 25,000 euros, concealed in her groin area. During interrogation by CISF, Gueye could not produce any valid document for carrying such a high volume of foreign currency. The woman, along with the recovered 25,000 euros, was handed over to the customs officials for further legal action.
