Mumbai, Aug 31: A 30-year-old architect from Mumbai ended up having a rather unpleasant experience after she faced harassment from two coach attendants. The harassers were accused of stalking and passing lewd comments at the woman.

The victim had boarded the Suryanagri Express from Vadodara station at 7.40 am. The lady was alone once the couple in her opposite berth disembarked at Surat.

The harassment started soon after, when the attendants, Bhupendra Prajapathi (18) and Bhimsingh Prajapathi (19) sat in the opposite berth after the older couple left. The attendants pretended to fold blankets and sheets while continuing to pass lewd comments.

Uncomfortable with the behaviour of the duo, the woman decided to sit with her aunt in another berth. She soon realised that she was being followed whenever she moved from one berth to another. The victim's aunt got down at the Borivali station while the woman got off at Dadar. She then headed straight to the police station.

The Mumbai Central GRP arrested the accused immediately and booked a case against them. Later, both the accused men will be produced in a railway court.
