Teen dies in accident after posting video of bike ride

Mumbai, Sep 4: On Tuesday, a 17-year-old boy dies from electrocution after he fell off a bike. Before the unfortunate death, the deceased posted an Instagram video of his ride. He was accompanied by one other boy, his friend who also fell off the bike. The friend of the deceased hit his head and is currently in the hospital.
The deceased identified as Joshua Pereira and his friend were riding without a helmet at 4.03 am. The video by the duo shows them speeding the two-wheeler over the poorly lit road.
The boys were riding towards Vasai fort which is were their bike skid at 4.15 am. The duo was out late night helping with decorations for the Ganesha festival.
The victim at the hospital has stated that the bike belonged to Joshua who was also the one riding it. However, Joshua's parents have claimed that he did not know how to ride.
The Vasai police have registered a case under accidental death. They are still in the process to ascertain the rider of the bike with the help of the CCTV footage.
