Milind Deora vows to remain bipartisan while Twitterati slams for praising Modi

Daijiworld Media Network - New Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 24: Maharashtra Congress leader Milind Deora, who is being condemned for praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech in Houston, has released a statement against the ‘unwarranted criticism’.

On September 23, Deora called Modi’s speech as ‘momentous first for India’s soft power diplomacy’

Modi positively reacted to the tweet and also highlighted Milind’s father Murali Deora’s commitment on developing strong ties with US.

Milind thanked the PM for his tweet and also tweeted about his father’s efforts.

However, the tweet exchange between the Congress leader and the PM did not go well with some, who slammed the leader on Twitter.

Deora responded to the ‘unwarranted criticism’ with a sharp statement.

“I will serve my country to best of my ability and I will remain bipartisan when it comes to issues of national interest and foreign policy. The experience and relationships that I have inherited and nurtured have little meaning if they cannot be leveraged for India,” he wrote.

He also ended the note with, “I will not compromise on my core beliefs even though politics continues to become increasingly uncharitable and partisan.”

This young dynamic leader, whose father was a visionary veteran, late Murli Deora, has realised that dynastical rule, of Gandhi's, are certainly inappropriate and dangerous for our Republic........

it is created by people by dividing individuals into Congressi, chaddis, bhakt, commies, etc. If u take a stand which is not of their liking, then they put u in a particular slot. Bipartisan views are not valued. if u read comments on any articles in Daijiworld, then u can observe the same trend here also.
