Mangaluru, Sep 26: A car parked suspiciously on Car Street here was found on Wednesday morning. Mangaluru north station police have begun investigations into it. The suspicion is aroused as a video of robbing a person and going away leaving the car behind has gone viral in social media. It is still not known if the incidents are interconnected.

The lonely Alto car was left in the junction between Car Street and Kudroli road on Wednesday. There is no number plate on the vehicle. Local people who saw the car left for a long time, informed the police.

Mangaluru north station police have inspected the car but they have not found any details. They took custody of the car later. It is suspected that the car is left there after using it for crime. Mangaluru police commissioner Dr P S Harsha reacting to the incident said that police have collected important clues of the car left suspiciously on Car Street. “The investigations have continued,” he said.
