Mangalore: Panambur Police Bust Inter-state Vehicle Lifters’ Racket – Two Arrested

Mangalore, Jul 26: Panambur police busted inter-state vehicle lifters racket and arrested two persons in this connection. Vehicle, Scorpio has also been seized.

The arrested have been identified as Mohammed alias Impru Mohammed (27), a resident of Subhashnagar in Ullal, and Abdul Rahiman alias Asif (21), a resident of Shimoga. However, Sayyed Akram, Prajwal and Nihar have fled the scene.

It is said that the accused Mohammed was involved several vehicle lifting cases apart from a bank robbery in Kasargod. In fact, he had fled from Coimbatore police station lock up.

Police have also seized two sharp weapons from the arrested. A case has been registered.
