Udupi: Tight Vigil On Naxalite Martyr’s Day

Udupi, Jul 27: Home minister V S Acharya said that steps had been taken to prevent any untoward incident during Naxalite Martyr’s Day to be observed on July 28 in the naxal-affected areas in the state.

Speaking to media persons on Saturday July 25, Dr Acharya said that combing had been intensified in the naxal-affected areas. This apart tight security will be provided on the day to prevent any untoward incident.

Every year, July 28 is observed as Naxalite Martyr’s day and July 28 to August 3 is observed as Naxalite Martyr’s Week.
