Uppinagady: Police Arrest Three for Cattle Trafficking

Uppinandagy, Jul 28:
Police arrested three people on charges of trafficking in cattle and seized a lorry with 25 bovines at Gundya checkpost on Monday July 27.
 
The arrested are Izaz alias Ezas, Althaf Pasha, and Nafiz Ahmed, all from Periyapattana in Mysore.



Police from Nelyadi outpost found the lorry loaded with cows as they were conducting a check. The police said that the vehicle was travelling towards Mangalore from Hassan.

The 25 cattle included cows, buffaloes, and oxen.
 
Uppinangady police registered a case in this regard.
