Mysore: Sonia Gandhi to Open Infosys Building on Sept 15

Mysore, Sep 6 (DHNS): All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Sonia Gandhi is arriving in the City on September 15. She will be inaugurating Global Education Centre (GEC) building at Infosys campus in Hootagalli in the City.   

Sources at Vijayanagar police station confirmed her visit. This follows a requisition from an officer of Infosys seeking extra security cover for the VIP on that day. The authorities at the station have forwarded the requisition to the office of Police Commissioner, seeking additional police force. Sonia is one among the few VIPs who enjoy ‘Z’ plus security cover of special protection group (SPG) personnel.
