Udupi, Sep 10: Nineteen persons deposed before the Justice B.K. Somasekhara Commission of Inquiry here on Wednesday. The regular judicial sittings will continue on Thursday and Friday. Its Legal Adviser S.R. Raviprakash recorded statements of the deponents, who have been identified as Alban George Fernandes, Mabel Fernandes, Pushparaj, Lakshmi Poojarti, Shankar Ankadakatte, Nathalia Saldanha, Mark Leo Fernandes, Mary Yuvan, James D’Souza, Victor David Naronha, Sevrin D’Souza, Maxim Saldanha, Walter Martis, Reni Suvares, Edwin Saldanha, Erwin Alva, Gregory Andrade, Thomas D’Souza and Lesley Coelho.
All of them filed their affidavits before the commission which has now delegated to Mr. Raviprakash powers to conduct the chief examination.
