Modi Dons Teacher's Cap for Party Ministers in Karnataka

Modi Dons Teacher's Cap for Party Ministers in Karnataka

Bangalore, Sep 30 (IANS): Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is in Mysore to hold 'classes' on team building and human resource development for ministers in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ruled Karnataka government.

State Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and his cabinet colleagues will get tips from Modi as well as party senior leaders Arun Jaitley and H.N. Ananth Kumar on improving governance and the image of BJP's first government in Karnataka and south India.

The three-day meet has been described by the state BJP as a 'chintan-manthan', or brain-storming team building effort and human resource development training.

"It will be an in-house exercise. We are not inviting any outside expert to give talks. Main speakers will be Modi, Jaitley, Ananth Kumar and a few leaders of the Karnataka unit of the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh)," a BJP spokesperson told IANS.

The meet is being held at Suttur, about 30 km from Mysore.

Modi arrived in Mysore, around 130 km from here, Monday evening and watched the torchlight parade marking the end of the 10-day Dasara festival.

The Yeddyurappa ministry was rocked by dissidence in April, May and June. Two ministers, G. Janardhana Reddy and G. Karunakar Reddy, who are rich iron-ore miners, threatened to quit if they were not given greater say in running the administration.

Yeddyurappa achieved a truce with the Reddy brothers by reining in some ministers close to him, particularly the lone woman minister Shoba Karandlaje.

Several senior party leaders, including some cabinet ministers, were also openly opposed to Yeddyurappa securing party nomination for his son B.Y. Raghavendra to contest the April-May Lok Sabha elections.

Raghavendra, contesting for first time, however, won the Shimoga seat defeating party-hopper and former Chief Minister S. Bangarappa, giving a reprieve to his father.

Good move by Shri Modi. All political parities viz Sonia, Manmohan Singh, Ghawdha, Mayawathi and all other opposition senior party member should join the Modi school. Modi is a well polished person a good personality who stands tall in the crowd will have to give a piece of his mind to all our bent, crooked, half dead ministers in India.

Some people blame Mr.Modi without any basis. The hatred stems from insecurity in the heart and poisoning minds at religious places. Some peopel have questiond his attire and black cat commando surrounding him, forgetting the same of Sonia and MMS. So use your brain before criticising Mr.Modi who is true patriotic person with immpeccable records for development.

Modi didnt make Gujarat no 1 state of India. It was no one since we got independence. Gujratis, sindhis and marwaris are known for their business skills and they are the richest community in India. Its quite natural that where rich and business minded peopople stay, the state will grow and become rich. Mr Modi has not navigated this state from poverty into a rich land. He is a murderer and his govt is man eating government.

Anyway we count, Mr.Modi is a good leader, in administartion & development wise. He easily paved way in for Nano project in his state, despite efforts by near States to bring in. He has brought good changes in Gujarat. Keep aside other factors, he is simply good administrator. Best of luck Modi, good luck Karnataka ministers, try to bring good results in future.

There seems a deep divide among Daiji readers, one section fervently supporting and the other vehemently opposing BJP idiology. But there shouldnt be any doubt on Modi's administrative and governance prowess which has won him election after elections. In rejecting him we are actually insulting the majority of people from Gujarat, which is absolutely wrong.

Ours is a time tested democracy. BJP's popularity is due to non performance of others, mainly Congress. But opponents should take heart, things are changing in Congress Party, with MSingh leading by example, Rahul as a role model for youth and that is because BJP taught the Congress lessons hard way! So be thankful to BJP, and rest assured of victory of Goodness over evil! Happy Dashera...!

Just ask people who are staying there.Earlier there was investment better than now, Unity in people & there was less poverty, more cleanliness, At present you can see drainage not cleaned, garbage not removed, No security after dark etc.I think you have not seen reality in gujarath. For your information every one knows gurathi people were rich people & are business class.

The people of Gujarat, whether they are Patels of Shaw they are business minded people. The Patel community in the U.S. is controlling the hospitality industry. These hard working people created wealth and their wealth began to flow to Gujarat. If Mr. Modi is taking the credit for everything what happend in the prosperity of Gujarat, that claim can't be taken into the face value. The people of Karnataka need not have to learn anything from Modi but he can teach something about minority persecution.

Mr.Modi – You are not welcome to Karnataka. Gujaratis are a investors paradise where ever they are, Mr.Modi your contribution is ZERO, your management skills to the karnataka BJP members specially to Reddy brothers will tossed into the dust bin. Minorities do not fret and fear you rather you fear them, that is why you require commandos to protect you.

Only the big wigs in BJP fear you, With Advani as a guide to BJP he will see your fall in due time... Kindly reserve your management techniques as your fall will be imminent and sudden.
