Puttur: Mangalore, Bantwal Taluks Emerge Champions at Dist-level Pratibha Karanji

The taluks of Mangalore and Bantwal emerged overall champions at the district-level Pratibha Karanji competitions held for both primary and high school students of Dakshina Kannada (DK) district at Sudana Education Institution here, recently. 

Nearly 1,167 students from seven taluks of the district participated in 81 competitions held for lower primary, higher primary and high schools. Bantwal taluk bagged two overall championships by bagging 52 points in higher primary and 56 points in high school division. Mangalore taluk bagged the overall championship by bagging 45 points in the lower primary division.
 


Sampat, Akhila and Swati Kundar bagged Pratibha Deepa trophy

Under the change of rules in effect from this competition, Pratibha Deepa Trophy were presented to each competitor who bagged highest points in each division. Accordingly, the trophy was presented to Sampat, a student of Vidyadayini Higher Primary School, Suratkal in Mangalore taluk, Akhila, a student of Vivekananda English Medium School in Puttur taluk under higher primary school division and Swati Kundar, a student of Rotary English Medium School, Moodbidri under high school division.
 
The competition was jointly organized by DK zilla panchayat, public instructions department and Sudhana Education Institution.
